This clock has been doing the rounds again. It's very clever but must have taken ages to produce. What would these people do without the Internet?

Busy day at work. Really busy. I didn't stop. Lots going on right now, seems I am being mentioned as the person 'who knows' in a lot of cases. I feel knackered now. Still making progress on the SMTP gateway upgrade, shouldn't have too much trouble getting it all in before Xmas. Also I've been put on a couple more mini-projects today, mostly top-secret stuff.

Got the new DECT phone delievered today. Looks cool, it's charging at the moment. Got an excellent deal from Empire Direct - I originally ordered a lesser model but it turns out it has been discontinued. ED offered me the next model up for the same price. Which I was gracious enough to accept

It was the last Solid Steel on the BBC last night. Sad. I recorded it on to MD and also to WAV from the RealAudio stream. I'm just compressing it now from over 1Gb to.... who knows? (Hopefully a lot less!) Listened to most of it today, it's really good. There were a few tracks that were very appropirate - Queen "the show must go on", Chris Rea "fool if you think it's over", Stones "this might be the last time" etc. Totally far from what they usually play, but very well done nonetheless. I sent them a 'farewell and good luck" email which I thought was the least I could do. They've really influenced my musical tastes and I've bought quite a few CDs because of that show.

Picked up two more TiVos tonight from the delivery depot. Glad I don't have to drive to work any more - it stresses me out. I'll take one into work tomorrow (for a colleague).

Also spoke to Multivision today about my PC - apparently it's going to take about 3 weeks! What are they doing, carving it out of a solid block of metal?

Watched Never Mind The Buzzcocks last night. Since Bill Bailey has been made team captain, I've been watching it a lot more. He really is a funny guy, the only one on the show that really, actually, physically makes me laugh and he comes across as being such a nice guy too. I'm off to investigate if there are any more BB DVDs I can get to keep Bewilderness company. (And don't even get me started on that twat Mark Lamarr)
