A couple more of my sub-�5 DVDs arrived today. The bargain was too much to resist. The films aren't great, but I don't mind paying such a low price for a mediocre film.

Apparently the record companies are stepping up their fight against pirates. Personally I will not be buying any CDs with copy protection for the simple reason that they don't adhere to the Red Book Standard. Why don't they just drop the price?

I've been looking at music software recently. I've got demos of Ableton Live, Reason, Rebirth, Cool Edit Pro and Acid. I just need to set some time aside and have a play. I'll probably start by remixing some track I really like.... Could be tricky...

I've just taken the Which Personality Disorder Do You Have? quiz and got Narcissistic. It can't be true - I'm too perfect to have a disorder like that ;-)

Learned about making an RSS feed today. Sounds interesting, I might try it (one day). I'm only interested because Trillian supports RSS feeds and The Register have just announced theirs.

I just submitted my blog to bilzg and Blogdex. Not sure whether I like the Lat / Long thing in the bilzg profile - you can see where I live! Well, if I had told the truth, anyway!

I had an amusing 419 yesterday (allegedly) from a Nigerian Barrister called Frank Bruno. I didn't realise he'd sunk so low... Maybe the pantomime circuit isn't all that. I tell you what though, I didn't know I share his Birthday.

I almost forgot. I made this animation of Bill Gates for a laugh. It does loop, but not very well. I might see if I can sort that out - if it is looping correctly, then I must have already done it.....

It was 1 April yesterday (April Fool's Day if you didn't know) and there were some jolly japes to be had. First, I received a new RFC for the Security Flag in IPv4 header (which had me going for about 2 seconds), then the Register posted a story about a new type of IDS that takes retaliatory action, which was even funnier.

Talking of El Reg, they published a story about Nigerian 419 scammers which featured a submission from me (the second letter on the page). Made me smile, anyway.
