16 April 2003
Wow. The weather today was absolutely gorgeous. I went home via Homebase and on the walk home I almost thought it was the middle of summer. Judging by the number of posers in cabriolets I was not alone.
So the neverhappy.com plan continues apace. I am going to experiment with blogger's (and w.bloggar's) team blog features. I reckon something along the lines of Lockergnome, but with less technology and more stupidity. I am going for maybe five active posters, but I know that people will lose interest if it's not fun. A while ago I set up a Smartgroups group called Talking Bollocks which was quite fun for a while, but there were a couple of personality clashes and well... it just kind of died. Neverhappy should be a bit different though, I hope people will just post little and often, with jokes, links, pics and whatever they want. As an incentive they can have an @neverhappy.com email address (for free!) which will give them SMTP / POP and Webmail access. There will also be a forum which will be more interactive than the blog thing. I really hope it gets off the ground, I guess I've just got to choose the right people.
It's Easter this weekend so I've got Friday off (woo!) then on Sunday we're flying out to Amsterdam for 2 nights. Should be fun, neither of us really fancied spending loads on a holiday we can't really afford, so we're just going to Hamsters for a couple of days. I really hope the weather stays nice, otherwise it could be a bit miserable. I've got the whole of next week off, too, so potentially I could be getting a tan in the back garden. Fingers crossed...
